Kerry founded Employee Benefit Solutions (EBS) in January, 2000, after spending 20 years in the health insurance industry, initially as a National Account underwriter for 5 years, managing client premium ratings for their insurance programs and creating alternative funding arrangements for the insurance companies.

Prior to starting EBS, Kerry worked for two large consulting firms, consulting with Fortune 50 to Fortune 500 companies on health and welfare programs, plan design and employee/employer funding strategies and finally on program installation, ongoing eligibility and plan administration.  She has worked extensively on plan mergers and acquisitions, including employee benefit program consolidation and contribution strategies, plan pricing and carrier contracts/negotiation.

The focus of Employee Benefit Solutions is to assist employers  with creating a benefit program that is easy for employees to use and easy for employers to administer for the best cost available in the industry.

 

With a strong background in business management and a business degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Debbie brings the necessary skills in management and customer service providing a high level of support to both our growing company and clients.

She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and recognized as a Miami University Outstanding Alumni.  She has been a member of several review and advisory boards as well as a speaker and panelist.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Debbie and her husband, Steve, live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
